A suite of the artist's limited edition woodcuts, images used as illustrations for Pennyroyal Press's 1986 limited edition printing of Frank L. Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz . Each sheet is pencil-signed and numbered (edition of 50) to the bottom margin, with embossed image titles to the bottom center. The set is neatly float-mounted behind glass in matching black frames that each measure 17" x 13".
The set is a nicely selected representation of Moser's illustrations, including the cover portrait of the Wicked Witch, character portraits of Dorothy and her three friends, and three beautiful scenes.Notoriously, Moser modeled his Wicked Witch of the West after then-First Lady Nancy Reagan.
